Are you a FURst-time pet owner? Or you own multiple pets at home and you need to keep track of their health and needs? Whatever type of a pet parent you are, you can make life a bit easier for you and your beloved furbabies by using pet care apps.
Here are the apps that I use and have proven to be extremely helpful:
Do you often take your dog for a walk? If humans have fitness trackers, dogs can have one, too. Petometer is a nifty tool for tracking your walk history (including distance and duration details) with your four-legged friend. It can even remind you of your pet’s next exercise schedule.
Rover (Android and iOS)
When you need someone to watch over your pet while you’re away for a vacation, you can count on Rover to connect you with dog sitters, house sitters, and pet boarders. You can even hire a dog walker with the app!
Vet on Demand (Android and iOS)
In an emergency and times when your vet is unavailable, Vet on Demand can help you by finding you a licensed vet in your area.
When Fluffy goes missing, it can be a nerve-wracking experience for a devoted pet parent. Good thing there’s an app that lets you search images to see if one of them is your pet. You can also upload photos of dogs or cats you find.
Dog Clicker Training (Android and iOS)
This is a great app to use for rewarding your dog’s good behavior. Every click must be followed by a treat.
