More about Laura Gardner, the founder of Unleashed

Hi! I’m Laura, and I have over 20 years of experience in animal care. Over the years, I have worked as a team lead in a large dog boarding facility and I have worked as a veterinary assistant in a practice for small and large animals. I use to have my own farm, which included goats, chickens, ducks, a donkey and longhorns. I also volunteer at the National Aquarium with the herpetology team, helping with the care of reptiles and amphibians.

I was born and raised in Belgium. I moved to the US in 2007, and I have lived in New Jersey, Texas and now Maryland, which I call home! I live in Sykesville with my husband, our 2 children and our pets.
